She Asks You For A Dance
Has this ever happened to you...
You're sitting into a club, and see a hot dancer you really like.
You make eye contact. She smiles. She walks over to you and says:
"Would you like a dance?"
And here's the moment of truth.
You know that if you get a dance with her, you're going to be lumped into the "customer category," and will have no chance of seeing her outside the club.
So you say "No." And what happens?
She pegs you as some loser with no money and moves on.
Owch.
So what's a guy to do?
Well, the first thing you need to realize is that when a dancer approaches you and asks if you want a dance, she's going through a pre-scripted sales pitch.
If you say "Yes," she's made a sale.
If you say "No," she moves on to look for someone who'll buy what she's offering.
So it seems like you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't.
But fear not. There IS a way to turn this situation to your advantage.
You can do this by not falling into her sales routine!
And you do that by simply not answering her question.
The real key to distinguishing yourself from loser customers is to get the girl talking to you in a way that does not denote you're going to offer her money for an erotic dance.
So the best thing you can do is change the subject and start talking about what you want to talk about, instead of what SHE wants to talk about.
Get it?
For instance, if a girl walks up to me and asks me if I want a dance, I might say something like:
"Oh my God, you really scared me for a second there."
When she asks why, I'll tell her about how she looks almost exactly like a dancer I used to date. And then I'll start talking about some of the crazy times I used to have with her and how I had to break it off for health reasons.
Now, the story is totally made up, but it does a few things for me...
First off, it gets her out of her "sales mode."
It engages her because she will wonder why she scared me.
It lets her know I'm an "insider" because I dated a dancer before.
And finally, I get to start talking about things I do outside the club.
From there I'll ask her to sit down and chat for a bit. What I'll usually do then is offer to buy her a drink to keep her around for a bit.
This will give me time to further engage her.
If she keeps pushing for a dance, I'll say that I'm not a customer and I'm just here to unwind for a bit before I head home.
If you can't get her to agree to meet you outside the club at this point, don't sweat it. After all, she's got bills to pay.
But if you display your personality and offer her an escape from work briefly, then you have a good chance of meeting up with her later.
